Over this week I noticed that I didn’t take that many photos since I didn’t go out anywhere or do much. The photos I took this week were photos of nature and food that I sent on snapchat.The first and third photos are food photos that I took when I went out to eat. The second photo is of a sunset that I look when I was crossing the bridge.

Week 5- Expo 2025

For the Expo 2025 the competiting city I have chosen to create a campaign for is Seoul, South Korea. The issue that I thought would be important in 2025 is the role of AI in the world. As technology develops and we invent more ways for our lives to become more efficient and advanced AI has helped us in many ways. In the future AI could help us advance for things like healthcare and transporation but some believe that AI will become more powerful than human intelligence and improve itself at a fast rate on day. It is a unlikely scenario but it does not mean it could not happen. It is possible that AI could malfunction and run of the creators control which could lead to human disasters. The reason I chose to Seoul, South Korea is because it is known as one of the most technologically advanced cities. The monument I chose was the Namdaemun Gate because it is known as a icon in Seoul and a national treasure. The mascot I chose to do for my campiagan is robots.
Week Four- ‘Natural World’ Wallpaper

For my wallpaper design I decided to focus on the people in our society. Nowadays many people are only concerned about whats on the outside rather than the inside. To represent this I created curves and organic shapes on the outer side of the wallpaper to represent the look of natural and put together. The outer side shows the face that everyone wants to show. On the inside of the wallpaper I have created harsh jagged lines to show that everyone has their imperfections and that it is nothing to be ashamed of or hid from the world.
Week Three- An Aspiring ‘Circus’ Performer
For this weeks post I decided to choose my impressive skill to be flexibility. In poster I have shown myself as a gymnast because gymnasts are know for being flexible and I also use to be a gymnast as well, so I consider myself quite flexible today. Visual elements I used to get the audiences attention are colour and bold text. I used bright and contrasting colors to catch the viewers attention. I also used red for the girls shirt to help her pop out and get the viewers attention. I used bold text to help the message across clearly about what the poster is about. I kept the background simple so it wouldn’t take away from the main element which is the girl doing the splits in the air.
BLOG TWO- SELF PORTRAIT

In my portrait I showed myself as how I would look normally. In todays society most people are seen as prestige by the way the dress and how they present themselves. In my portrait I’ve presented myself in a simple and modern. I am also wearing a branded shirt because wearing brand or jewelry also show your status in society. People who own expensive brands like Gucci, YSL, ect are considered to be more wealthy. Portraits now a days have become more digital rather than hand made. Today a simple selfie can be considered as a portrait. We see portraits regular on social media.
Blog One- Advertisements
Blood Cancer Awareness
This is an advertisement that I came across at my work. September is blood cancer awareness month and my work is trying to spread awareness by putting up posters. This poster sends out a clear message of what it is trying to communicate by using large and bold font. Using red helps attracts the eye and helps create a link between the text and the image. The target audience for this ad would be ages between 15-30.

Cloverdale Housing
The second advertisement I saw was in my local newspaper. This advertisement is about new housing for Cloverdale. The big and clear font and house icons help clearly shows what the ad is about. The different shades of blue help guide and attract the reader to the information that is important . This ad is directed towards people who are interested in buying homes, which can range from people who are in their 20s- 40s.

Drugstore Makeup
The last advertisement I saw was on Instagram. This advertisement is about drugstore makeup that can be purchased at Shoppers Drug Mart. This ad stands out due to the darker colours in the background which help make the makeup products pop out and shows what brands they have in store. By showing the makeup on the model helps customers see how the product looks on. This advertisement is directed towards customers that are 16-30.
Some similarities all three of these advertisements are that they are very clear and straight to the point about what message they want to send. They are also very clean, simple and use colours to help stand out information or objects that they want their targeted audience to notice.
